Bydgoszcz Water Festival “Set your HEADING ON BYDGOSZCZ 53˚N, 18˚E” is an annual event held in the City of Bydgoszcz and is at the same time the largest initiative for boaters organised in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is a unique project which combines the worlds of sailors, artists and travellers. Each year the event attracts thousands of boaters, hikers and inhabitants of Bydgoszcz and gains momentum with each season. The City welcomes more and more vessels from Poland and from abroad and the number of visitors increases significantly from year to year. Each edition allows us to observe how strongly the City of Bydgoszcz is connected with the river.

This year, the 7th edition of Set your HEADING ON BYDGOSZCZ will be held on the Mill Island between 13th and 15th of June.

On Saturday, 17th of May 2014 The European Night of Museums will take place. On this occasion, the closing time of the museums will be postponed to approximately 1.00 am. Entry to the all of Museums will be free.

This year we will celebrate the 10th edition of the European night of Museums.

28th of May 2014 at University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz (in Auditorium Novum between 9.00 -15.00) will take place an event called "WAMPIRIADA".

Wampiriada's mission is to spread the idea of ​​voluntary blood donation and healthy lifestyle, not only among students, but also the inhabitants of academic centers. Organizers also want to increase public awareness on the relevance of formation of blood banks and bone marrow banks.

During the event you can give your blood to the blood bank.

2nd Inland Shipping and Water Management International Exhibition and Conference WATERWAYS EXPO 2014 will be held on 10-12 June 2014 in Bydgoszcz.

WATERWAYS EXPO is a meeting place for local government, chambers of commerce and associations, clusters, technology parks, industrial and economic backgrounds interested in the development of inland  transport and water management.
