International Day took place 7th of December. During this day students participated in workshops where they had a lot of tasks aimed at international and intercultural education. Between workshops we had a breaks and we could try melas from different  countries: Hungarian Soup. Spanish tortilla de patata, Turkish borek or Polish gingerbread.

In October 2010 Erasmus students could participate in Orientation Days, organized by almost all universities from Bydgoszcz. Students had a cultural workshops, they could learn how to survive abroad. In the evening we had a bonfire with a musical performance. During next days international students had an opportunity to visit Bydgoszcz and Toruń, participated in presentation about Polish life style and culture. The Rochus and Beatrice Mummert Foundation (www.mummertstiftung.de) supports future executives from Central and Southeastern Europe with scholarships for studies in economics, engineering, sciences or tourism at Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen or Cologne University. Scholarship holders also benefit from a comprehensive support program, including internships in German companies, personal counseling by tutors and mentors, as well as seminars and colloquia.

New academic year has begun, so as usually, our University hosts Erasmus students. This time we have 56 students from Turkey, Spain and Hungary. We hope that they will settle in Bydgoszcz and our University and they will spent fruitful and interesting time here.
